The journey from Udumalpet to Coimbatore via Palladam is an approximately 88-kilometer bus ride that takes around 2 hours and 4 minutes. The route provides a scenic drive through the Tamil Nadu countryside, offering glimpses of local life and beautiful landscapes along the way.
To begin the journey, head north toward Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road and exit the roundabout onto NH 83. As you travel along NH 83, you’ll pass KRS TRAVELS on the right. After approximately 750 meters, make a right turn after Sundaram Trading Company, continuing on Udumalpet – Palladam Road. Along this stretch, you’ll pass JEGAPRIYA BATTERIES on the right.
After covering about 45.7 kilometers on Udumalpet – Palladam Road, turn right at Logeshwara Bakery onto Avinashi – Tiruppur – Palladam – Pollachi – Cochin Road. Pass by SRI WIRE NETTINGS on the left, and after about 1.6 kilometers, take a left turn at VET MED PET HOSPITAL & SURGICAL CENTRE onto NH 81. Along this route, you’ll notice a cemetery on the left after 300 meters.
Continue on NH 81 for approximately 17.5 kilometers. Then, stay on NH 81 as it merges with NH181. Along the way, you’ll pass Kings Bakes on the left in 2.3 kilometers. Follow NH181, passing E1 Singanallur Police Station on the left after 4.7 kilometers. Turn right to stay on NH181, and after a short distance, you’ll pass a petrol pump on the left.
At the roundabout, take the third exit and remain on NH181. After approximately 1.3 kilometers, continue straight through Lakshmi Mills Junction onto Bharathiyar Road/Peelamedu Road/Perundurai-Coimbatore Road/Puliakulam Road. Pass by Axis Bank Branch on the right, and then turn right onto Bharathiyar Road. After 240 meters, make a right turn onto Parameshwaran Layout Road, followed by a left turn onto NH181/NH948.
Keep to the right and merge with NH181, passing S Indian Bank on the left. At the roundabout, take the first exit to continue on NH181. Drive alongside Power House on the right for about 170 meters. Finally, after 700 meters, you will arrive at your destination in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
